Under-19 Asia Cup which was planned to occur in Bengaluru on coming November has been currently moved out of India in the wake of neighboring Pakistani cricket experts tossed protests after facilitating the competition in the dirt of main adversaries.
The hosting right has now been shifted to Malaysia. The decision was taken in the Annual General Body meeting of Asian Cricket Council on Sunday.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in spite of the fact that they needed their cricketers to take an interest in the competition yet they didn’t need their young cricketers to experience any bother.
“The matter of shifting the tournament to Malaysia was amicably agreed by all participants in the development and executive committees since no one wanted it marred by security considerations of any member,” PCB Chairman Najam Sethi said.
The PCB had earlier expressed its reservations in traveling to India owing to the political tensions between the two countries.
