Karachi Kings, a franchise of Pakistan Super League, on Tuesday, named all-rounder Imad Wasim as the new captain for the third season which starts from February 2018.

Imad Wasim will take over the captaincy from Kumar Sangakkara who captain Karachi Kings for the second season. Imad Wasim is the fourth captain of the Karachi Kings so far. Imad Wasim promised to bring aggression in the team.
“I have been playing with aggression in the national team and same aggression will be seen in Karachi Kings. I will not only lead the team in the best way possible but will also better my individual performance in the field,” Imad said.
Imad also said that it is an honour to become the captain of the Karachi Team and he is hopeful to give his best under the guidance of Shahid Afridi.
The draft of Pakistan Super League for the third season is scheduled on 12th November.
