Pakistan Set To Begin New Test Era Without Younis – Misbah

Pakistan is all set to play their first test without their legendary batsman Younis and Misbah from last seven years. The first test of three test match series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka is all set to begin from 28th September in Abu Dubai.

This is the first test in seven-years when Pakistan team playing their test match without the legendary batsman Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq. Pakistan team surely lack kind of experience Younis and Misbah had when they were the part of the team.

Younis and Misbah together have appeared in 193 Tests, with the total of 15,331 runs, 44 centuries and 15 century stands between them. And because of their vast contribution, Pakistan team reached to the top of the Test rankings in August last year for the first time.

Both batsman dominating the Pakistan batting lineup especially in UAE, which Pakistan team adopted their home ground since the attack on Sri Lankan team in Lahore. 

Pakistan skipper also admires both legendary batsmen,”Obviously, it´s not easy to fill the void they left as they were the backbone of our batting.

“Their contributions were immense but now we have to move on,” he said further. 

Cricketing days are not good for Sri Lanka nowadays. They were whitewashed by India in all format in Sri Lanka. So this series is very good for Pakistan to set up their test team without Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq.
