Windies lost their initial 5 wickets at 9 runs. Then Windies captain Jason Holder score quick 34 runs in 21 balls. At the end, Windies only manage to score 99 runs for the lost of 9 wickets and so New Zealand won the match by 66 runs. Ross Taylor scores 47 not out while wicketkeeper Latham scores 37 runs. Cottrell takes 2 wickets in his 6 overs.
For Windies, only Jason Holder able to make 34 runs and no other batsmen score run for Windies. Boult and Santner take three wickets each while Henry takes 2 wickets.
Windies also lost the two-match test series by 2-0.
