U-19 Asia Cup one-day tournament 2017 has come with some unexpected results. First of all, Afganisthan beat Pakistan and now Nepal beat India by 19 runs.
After winning the toss, India decided to bowl first and they restricted Nepal to 185 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 50 overs. Thakare and Abhishek Sharma grabbing two wickets each.
Chasing a target of 186 runs in 50 overs, Indian openers starts well and put 65 runs for the first wickets but then no other partnership developed and so India all out on 166 runs and lost the match by 19 runs.
Opener Himanshu Rana was the top scorer with 46 runs. For Nepal, captain Dipendra Singh performs well with bat and bowl. He made 88 runs and also took 4 wickets by giving just 39 runs.
This was Nepal first-ever win against in any cricketing format.
India and Nepal both have two points each from their two matches.
