Bangladesh tour of South Africa was not less than a nightmare for Bangladesh. The visitors fail to register even a single win in the whole tour. They were clean sweep by South Africa in all three departments.
In Potchefstroom, Bangladesh was looking for the only victory in the last game of the series. But Bangladesh fail to do and lost the last T20 as well.
After winning the toss, Bangladesh decided to field first. South Africa rested Quinton de Kock for the second T20. The start was not good for South Africa and Mohsehle was gone for 5. South Africa captain Duminy also not sustain for long. Both wickets were taken by Bangladesh captain Shakib ul Hassan. But Hasim Amla holds the one end and scoring runs continuously.
But the only man who made his explosive presence in the match is David Miller. He scored his century off only 35 balls which is the fastest hundred in any T20 international game. He smashed 5 sixes in a row in one over of Mohammad Saifuddin.
Bangladesh fielding was very poor in this match also. David Miller, who scored fastest hundred in T20 international, was dropped when he never opened his account. Miller then punishes Bangladesh with his superb century and takes South Africa to 224 runs in 20 overs.
In response, Bangladesh started well and scores 17 runs in the first over but it never lasted long and Bangladesh lose their wickets in regular interval. Only Soumya Sarkar shows some resistance but it was never enough as Bangladesh lost the match by 83 runs and lost the T20 series by 2-0.
