The cricketing days are all good for India nowadays. They whitewash Sri Lanka in all format and now they take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the ongoing series against Australia with two matches still to go.
India beat Australia in the third ODI of the series by 5 wickets. Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane and Hardik Pandya scores fifty in the win.
After the poor show in the first two ODI of the series, Australia finally shows some good cricket after winning the toss in 3rd ODI. Aaron Finch and David Warner gave Australia a good start. Finch score a beautiful hundred but Australia didn’t capitalize the good start. At one stage they were 221-1 after 37 overs but Indian bowlers bowled really well in death overs and restrict Australia at 293.
In response, India starts well with both openers scores 50s and gave India a solid start. After the departure of openers Hardik Pandya leads the team and score a good knock of 78 with 4 sixes, he also took 1 wicket in his spell of 10-0-58-1 and won the man of the match award.
Skipper Virat Kohli also praises the inning of Hardik Pandya.
With this win, India also moves up to the top of the one-day international rankings. They are above South Africa by 1 point with the total of 120 points.
The next ODI between India and Australia is scheduled on Thursday.
