After the below average performance by Indian batsmen in the first test, Indian team again on the verge of losing the second test here in Centurion. Chasing the target of 287 runs to win the second test, India loses their three wickets on 35 runs including the wicket of skipper Virat Kohli who score beautiful 153 in the first inning.
Indian bowlers bowled well in the series so far. After conceding 28 runs lead in the first inning, Indian bowler bowled well in the second inning. Mohammad Shami takes 4 South African wickets. Bumrah takes three wickets while Ashwin takes one wicket in the second inning of South Africa.
Now India needs to chase 287 runs to win the test match and so level the series. No team in South Africa chased more than 251 runs in South Africa. India already loses their three top batsmen including both openers, Rahul and Vijay, and inform batsman Virat Kohli.
At the end of day four, Pujara and Parthiv Patel were on the crease. India still needs 252 runs to win the test which looks impossible as wicket helping the bowlers and it will be hard to score runs as ball loses its shine.
Rabada, Nigdi, Morkel, and Philander looks dangerous and it will be very hard for Indian batsmen to score runs on a wicket where balls start to keep low as we see in case of Murali Vijay dismissal.
The whole responsibility now is on the shoulder of Pujara and if Pandya score then India slightly have a rare chance to win this test which looks impossible at the moment.
