The absence of last match hero Mohammad Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar is not much affected India as Ishant, Ashwin and Jadeja bowled brilliantly in the second test against Sri Lanka in Nagpur.
After winning the toss, Sri Lankan captain Dinesh Chandimal decided to bat first. But Sri Lanka fails to take advantage of winning the toss as the visitor is bowled out on 202 runs on the first day of Nagpur test.
Although India also lost the wicket of KL Rahul at the end of the day one yet India slightly has an upper hand in the test match. The wicket will ease to bat on the second day and it will not be going easy for the Sri Lankan bowlers to deal with strong Indian batsmen.
For Sri Lanka, it was only Karunaratne and captain Chandimal who spent some time on the crease. Samarawickarma once again fails to score runs. Ashwin bowled beautifully and takes four Sri Lankan wickets. Ishant Sharma and Jadeja take three wickets each.
India lost KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Puajara and Murali Vijay are on the crease and both batsmen have the responsibility to not lose early wicket on day two. Wicket might become some sort of batting friendly on day two so it will be the big task for Sri Lankan bowler to take wickets of Indian batsmen.
