The time is not going well for two popular England cricketers Ben Stokes and Alex Hales following a brawl outside a nightclub in Bristol.
England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have said both the cricketers won’t be considered for selection in the England side until further notice.
This decision comes after a video footage was released by a newspaper which allegedly shows Stokes and Hales in a brawl with two other individuals outside a nightclub in Bristol. Below is the video footage of the incident.
In the video footage, it was clearly seen that Stokes was punching a man on his face.
Following the incident, ECB released a statement, “Ben Stokes and Alex Hales will not be considered for selection for England international matches until further notice. Each remains on full pay pending further ECB investigation and the ongoing Police investigation into an incident in Bristol in the early hours of Monday 25 September.”
By this incident, Ben Stokes participation in this winter Ashes is in danger. If he is convicted then he might miss the Ashes in Australia.
