For the inaugural draft of the Global T20 League in South Africa, 90 outside cricketers have been enrolled of where T20 boss Chris Gayle and Pakistan’s former star Shahid Afridi are among the hot names.
No Indian player is among the 90 players drafting as BCCI does not allow its cricketers to any foreign T20 leagues.
The main period of the Global T20 League will commence on November this year. The 13 nations spoke to are – Afghanistan, Australia, England, Hong Kong, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Zimbabwe.
