India won test series against Sri Lanka

The third test between India and Sri Lanka is ended into a draw. India won the three-match series by 1-0.

Dhanjaya de Silva and Roshen Silva lead Sri Lanka on the fifth day when the visitor finds the way to draw the third test match at Feroz Shah Kotla. Both batsmen played very well and confidently face the spin of Jadeja and Ashwin. Dhanjaya de Silva retired hurt at 119. Then Roshen Silva lead Sri Lanka along with wicketkeeper-batsman Dickwella. Both put 152 runs partnership for the sixth wicket and ensure no further harm for Sri Lanka and successfully saved the match for Sri Lanka.

Indian captain Virat Kohli named Man of the Match and Man of the Series for his brilliant effort with the bat. Kohli scores two double century, one century and a fifty in this series.

 India set a target of 410 runs for Sri Lanka to win the match. India starts well and takes three wickets yesterday. Angelo Mathews and Chandimal did not score big in the second inning. But the young talent of Sri Lanka de Silva, Roshen Silva, and Dickwella play well for Sri Lanka and save the match for Sri Lanka.

India’s fielding was not good in this match. If they take the crucial catches in the first inning then they might change the result of this third test.

Sri Lanka now plays three ODI and three T20I in this tour. The first one-day of three-match series will be played on 10th December at Dharamsala.
