The second ODI of three-match series between India and Sri Lanka will be played in Mohali. Sri Lanka is high in confidence after beating India by 7 wickets in Dharamsala ODI while India looking for the first win in the short series to level the series.
Sri Lankan bowler especially Suranga Lakmal bowled well in the first ODI. They consistently bowled in the right channel and trouble the strong Indian batting line-up throughout their inning. Only Mahendra Singh Dhoni delivered for India and it was him because of which India managed to score only 112 runs on the board. Dhoni scored brilliant 65 runs in the first inning.
Mohali pitch also expected to help fast bowlers, especially in the winter season, however, there is a less chance of timely start of the game due to wet outfield and fog.
Sri Lanka is unexpected to make any changes in their playing eleven after their win in the first game. India might opt for Rahane and look to make their batting even more stronger.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma himself fail in the first ODI. He wanted to score runs so as to give his team a strong start along with Shikhar Dhawan.
