England and Australia tighten their laces for the first Ashes test match start from Thursday 23rd November in Brisbane.
Ashes is the oldest rivalry in the cricketing world played between England and Australia. Both teams wanted to win this battle at any cost.
Last time England visited Australia for the Ashes series was way back in 2013-14 and they brutally thrashed by mighty Australian side by 5-0.
The series comes to light way before it started. England already misses their one of the best cricketer and inform all-rounder Ben Stokes. Stokes was involved in a brawl outside a club in Bristol and so due to which he was dropped from the England squad for the Ashes series following his interrogation by the police. So England squad look less stronger due to unavailability of their premium all-rounder Ben Stokes.
On the other hand, Australian squad looks pretty balanced. The return of Mitchell Starc and Hazelwood not good for the England side. Mitchell Starc recently takes two hat-tricks in one Shiefiled Shield test in a domestic game.
England relied on their experienced bowling attack of Broad and Anderson to gain the upper hand in the opening Ashes test. Joe Root doesn’t have much experience in captaincy as compared to Australia’s Steve Smith but he look promising against Windies in England.
There is already verbal battle going on between both teams so it is interesting to see how both teams approach their game in the whole series.
