Saeed Ajmal Announces Retirement
Pakistan offspinner Saeed Ajmal, on Monday, announced his retirement from all form of cricket. He is currently featuring in the Pakistan domestic T20 tournament, National Twenty20 tournament, which is the last cricketing action for the offspinner.

Saeed Ajmal career was always like a see-saw. He was one of the best off-spinner at a time. He topped the ICC ODI and T20 international rankings. 

“I am quitting all forms of cricket after the current National Twenty20 tournament,” Ajmal told AFP.

“It was a highly satisfying career in which I achieved whatever goals I set for myself and helped the team win matches,” he said further.

But Saeed Ajmal rapidly declines in international cricket, especially after his remodeled bowling action. He was called for suspect bowling action twice in his career and then he remodeled his action. With the new action, he was not as effective as he was before the remodeled action.

England tour to UAE to play three test matches against Pakistan was one of the greatest series in Ajmal career. He took 24 wickets in three test and help Pakistan to clean sweep England in the three-match series.

Ajmal last international appearance was against Bangladesh. He played two ODI and one T20I in that series and took only 1 wicket in three matches.

In his 35 test, Saeed Ajmal took 178 wickets. In ODI, he played 113 one day and took 184 wickets with an impressing economy of just 4.18. He also featured in 64 T20 internationals and takes 85 wickets.
